As far as I have red in forums, I have come to several possible causes of lack of power which might be related either to bad fuel supply or bad air supply: 1. Bad MAF sensor, so engine might not be able to calculate correct amount of air entering the combustion chambers; 2. Vacuum leak or bad DISA valve, allowing less air to enter the chambers
I posted this in the general section following up with a battery replacement. I got these current codes and figured it was a low battery causong an issue, considering my battery was at the end of its life. Replaced battery and registered and codes are still active with limp mode. No response from the accelerater pedal and idle is pretty shaky.
07 E90 Completely Dead. New to the forum but have had my 07 about four year now. I have never had an issue until now. I went to get in and run to the store yesterday and nothing. No dome lights, no dash lights, no nothing. Today I changed the battery out and still nothing! 328i E93 N51 fuel pump troubleshooting. Car: 2010 328i convertible, N51 engine. Objective of this thread: Rule out fuse pump as an issue.will check and report back tomorrow [QUOTE=Tom K.;10833617][quote=KwlAznKid;10832519]hi guys, 2. i was probably playing for bout 2-3 minutes (car was off but key was in) i got a message that said LOW BATTERY and on the dash it showed a picture of the car battery where the temp is usually shown. i got scared and turned the car off and the on right away to test the battery.. it turned on
1) You do NOT have a battery issue. The Low Voltage reading is in the EKPS, and NOT System Voltage. If the battery has enough Voltage to crank the Starter, then the battery is NOT the issue. 2) You appear to have EITHER an issue with the Fuel Pump or the EKPS, or their wiring/connectors. i1xoihv.
