Its a 1 day strip and fix. My 2012 Mk4 (2.0l diesel, manual gearbox) has just over a month left on it's warranty, so wondering if I should get this looked at before it's too late. Occasionally I find that reverse gear is very difficult to select, as if the ring on the gear stick isn't being lifted. Eventually it will go with a bit of force, but obviously not ideal.
Hi, did mine 2 years ago, - you don't say if yours is a manual, 5 or 6 speed. -Mine's an MTX75 gearbox. for filling it's def. from the top front with a funnel and a long spout-there's a youtube vid of someone doing it. It took just under 2 litres,- fill it till it comes out of the filler hole.
If you can afford a current production petrol 1,500 cc Mondeo it will be 8 speed That's how I come to leave Fords and Mondeo's, apart from loads of earlier Fords I have had 4 new Focus ST225s, a Mondeo Mk4.5 2 litre ecoboost Sport (Powershift standard) and a fully kitted Mk5 Mondeo 2 litre ecoboost with the torque converter 6F35 Trans.

The modified Ford Mondeo Mk4 paid EBC a visit at their Northampton-based HQ. Kwik Fit said they can't do it and referred me to an independant exhaust specialst nearby! Rough quote for a whole system is £650! 9Qz9.
